Doing side jobs in his spare time, his reputation grew and so did his customer base.
No advertising was done, all his work was gained through word of mouth and CMT Contractors quickly grew.
After 20 years in business, Mike, as he likes to be called, decided it was time to retire.
He approached his foreman, George Steven Lockner, and asked if he would like to buy the business.
Not wanting to let the opportunity pass him by, he and Mike worked out an agreement to pass ownership to him.
