We want to assure any potential customer who may call us our for a roof concern, we will be vigilant in following the social distancing protocol of today 4/13/2020. As potential customers look for a company to do roof repair, it's quite common for them to believe that all roofing contractors are the same. Since 1989, doing only roof repairs, we know, nothing, could be further from the truth.
The majority of roofing contractors typically include new construction, remodeling and re-roofing in their repertoire. All of these services take a roof from one stage, to that of a new roof. Customers expect a leak-free roof for 15 to 30 years. Reasonable? We think so. So why are there so many leaking roofs? Reasons for this might be poor attention to detail or outright apathy for anything but the final paycheck.
Now we don't claim to be perfect, but because we do not install new roofs in any way, we are not causing the leaks. Those who are installing the new roofs are responsible for any leaks that may occur.

Since 1989 doing roof repairs only, we have heard many reasons why other contractors tell their customers they need a new roof.
We deem none as unlikely as the roof tile on a building can not be matched.
Those who have tile roofs have our assurance: we have never told a customer they need a new roof because we cannot match the tile.
Since 1990 we have matched roof profiles and colors to the aesthetic demand of the most prestigious communities throughout Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin Counties.

Chimneys: Chimneys in this area of Florida most commonly are constructed with wood frame or block.
Typically they include a stucco finish that is painted.
There are also frame and block chimneys that include a decorative finish of brick or stone.
Based on the hundreds of chimney repairs we have done, 80% of the roof leaks were coming from the chimney structure.
This should be a startling fact for anyone, so we want to state this again.
Eighty per cent (80%) of the roof leaks we have repaired around chimneys have been a result of water infiltration from the chimney structure itself.

Our procedure "Rodent Proofing" is often misinterpreted by homeowners whose attics are infested with rodents.
Pest control companies and specialty animal removal companies remove rodents from the attic.
While it is rare for pest control companies to include the service of sealing the roof openings, it is more common for specialty companies to do so.
To effectively eliminate rodent entry, roofing shingles, tile and/or metal roof covering must be removed.
To perform work on a roof, a service provider must be licensed and insured as a roofing contractor.

This style skylight is a plastic dome, set on to a wood curb.
In this instance we were removing and replacing this unit, in its place we installed a Self Flashed (SF), which included an integral aluminum curb with welded corners.
Note the poor flashing done by others, corners left open renders the protection from the elements as negligible.
Although we solder all our copper flashing, we do not advocate the wood curb mounted skylight, instead the use of a Self Flashed (SF), which has the welded aluminum frame.
