Stone Coated Steel roofing systems are warrantied for 50 years against hail penetration, 120 mph winds and manufacturing defects.
At only 140 pounds per 100 square feet, Stone Coated Steel systems can be installed directly over most existing roofs, eliminating messy, costly and disruptive tear-offs.
A 2 x 2 timber batten system elevates the panels above the existing roof and allows air in between the existing roof or deck and the new steel roof, effectively placing your house "in the shade".
This "cold" roof design is very energy efficient.
