Hill Country Roofing, Inc. was founded in 1946 in Kerrville by Henry Covert.
The business was called Covert & Sons Roofing & Sheet Metal.
Henry was a close family friend of the Leinwebers and when he decided it was time to retire he offered the company to Bob Leinweber.
Bob took ownership and continued under the same name and office space.
Henry remained close by, watching over and teaching Bob everything he knew about the business.
In 1979, Bob incorporated the business and changed the name to Hill Country Roofing, Inc.
