His experience in the field stretches over 40 years and his vast knowledge has helped his crew be at a level that very few are. The crew consists of 5 crewmen and a foreman.
His son and newphew work alongside the crew and Mr. Rivas and take up every aspect of the business as well.

When tearing off the existing roof several layers might exist.
Under those layer or layers there will either be a solid deck or spaced planks like below.
In this case a solid deck has tro be added in order to have a solid nailing surface.
When we encounter spaced sheathing like above we will have to install CDX plywood or an OSB plywood.
There are different options you could go with when it comes to sheathing, but we like to use a foil faced OSB plywood.
It can drop the temperature of the attic up to 30 degrees and combined with proper ventilation we believe this is a step above all while keeping every project budget friendly.
