Frank J. Gates Sr. became the sole propitiator in 1972.
In 1987 Gates Roofing Company was incorporated as Gates Roofing & General Construction Company Inc.
Frank J. Gates Sr. is the corporation president and sole share holder.
In 1988 Gates Roofing Company applied and was approved as a New York State Disadvantaged Minority Business Enterprise in recognition of their Native American heritage.
