Don Bassett has worked in the roofing industry as an installer and estimator since 1980. He started D. Bassett Roofing & Repair in October of 1986 in Arlington, TX. He is a loving husband to Tracy and the proud father of three boys who keep him pretty busy most days. D. Bassett Roofing & Repair extended services to the Florida panhandle in 2004 after Hurricane Ivan devastated the Gulf Coast.
Don obtained a roofing contractor's license in Florida. All roofing contractors in the state of Florida are required by law to hold a license to operate a business there. Licensing is not a requirement in Texas for roofing contractors, though, we feel like it would benefit homeowners and would like to see this happen. While in Pensacola, our team expanded to include renovation projects.
Because of this expansion, we felt a name change was needed so we became D. Bassett Roofing & Renovation, LLC. Our renovation crew is extremely talented and not afraid to tackle new projects. They frequently receive compliments from homeowners for their work and character.
