Kovalick Roofing & Siding Company is a family-owned business. We work primarily in south Genesee and north Oakland counties. We install asphalt roofing, soffit, & trim. We specialize in the ventilation of attics, making sure that your unique attic is effectively vented. Do you get ice dams in the winter? Have they leaked into your house yet? I started Kovalick Roofing & Siding in 2004.
It was originally named Olympus Roofing, Inc. because I have a passion for the Olympic games.
I tried to call it Olympic Roofing, but the state of Michigan wouldn't let me, so I came up with what I thought was the next best name.
After a few years I realized that the name didn't fit.
I am proud of the work that we do and thought it only fitting to put my name on the company as well.

Although we do a few things besides roofing and attic ventilation, we do not claim to be Kovalick Construction, or a general contractor.

Even with proper insulation this high attic temperature will beat down into your home, increasing the interior temperature by as much as 30 degrees.
This is uncomfortable, causing you to turn up the air conditioner.
But the heat also does other, less obvious things.
It dries up the shingles and it cooks the wood in your attic.
If you were to look in the attic you would probably see the sap seeping out of the rafters (it resembles little amber bubbles).
At night temperatures drop.
