CF Construction
We are currently working hard on all the WIND & HAIL DAMAGE that is throughout the area. Use this web page as a resource to learn more about us, what the insurance damage is, "Storm Chasers", how to deal with Insurance Companies, etc. As General Contractors, we can do it all. We work with many of the best local specialty contractors and make sure your job is completed with the highest quiality products and workmanship.

The surge in work has brought "storm chasers" from out of state. It is not hard for a company to "register" in Idaho. Their work may be O.K., but any warranty is usually gone with them when they leave. Any company with an Idaho Registration # of 47200 or higher, was not registered before the storm.
Services
With over 30 years of experience as a roofing contractor, and doing home remodels, I brought CF Construction here to the Valley in 2003.
Below is a short history of my company.
After moving my family to Idaho, I established CF Construction in 2003 after many years as a Roofing Contractor and home remodeler.
I have experience in new construction, real estate and land development.
My goal is to provide the best customer service, superior quality, great value, all in a professional and quick manner.
Experience matters when it comes to your home and helping you through the insurance process.
Many screens and windows were damaged by the hail also.
Some just have "beading" damage that is easily replaced.
Others, the actual frame is damaged and the entire window will be replaced through insurance proceeds.
Garage doors, metal patio covers and other items were damaged as well.
With a free inspection before the adjuster comes out, we will give you an idea of what we will show the adjuster to make sure you get everything repaired.
Your first step is determining if there is enough damage to file a claim.
It is important to use a contractor that has experience in finding and knowing what hail damage looks like.
Many roofers do not know what hail damage looks like.
We become your advocate with the insurance company.
If you have enough damage, we instruct you to call your insurance company and start the claims process.
They will ask a few questions that we can help explain.
They will usually have their adjuster call within a few days to set a time to come out and look at the damage.
Storm Chasing is a very large and established industry east of the Rockies.
Contracting companies follow hail storms (which happen more often elsewhere) and temporarily open offices and appear to be local.
They may do decent work but often leave as soon as the work starts to wind down and a new storm offers more opportunity, leaving you without a warranty.
The first type of company will show up and create a whole new entity or bring the same name from elsewhere.
They spend lots of money to look and act local, but here in Idaho they come across as "flashy" and have professional salesman that many describe as pushy or high pressure.
